About the Artist: Pinchas Litvinovsky (1894–1985) was an Israeli artist born in Ukraine and influenced by Russian Constructivism. He studied art in both Russia and Israel before immigrating to Israel in 1919. Litvinovsky is known for his stylized portraits and depictions of local life and animals, often rendered with vivid color and expressive abstraction.
