Al Rossi

Al Rossi (1927–2004) was a midcentury illustrator whose early career included work for pulp fiction and toy design. After studying at Pratt Institute and the Art Students League, he worked commercially before turning to painting later in life. In retirement, Rossi focused on serene landscapes and everyday scenes, including works inspired by Central Virginia, where he spent his later years.
