With loose yet deliberate brushwork, Thomas balances the geometry of the built environment with the organic rhythm of trees and mountain light. The soft palette and diffused atmosphere reflect his signature ability to find harmony between the everyday and the evolving landscape.


About the Artist: Edward Thomas (1972-2021) was an artist, architect and historian living and working in Charlottesville, Virginia. Edward studied both architecture and painting at the University of Virginia. He created a beautiful body of work that captured and illuminated the mundane and spectacular scenes of Central Virginia
