Artist Bio:
Etta Harmon Levin lived and taught on Long Island, N.Y. until 2007, when she and her husband moved to Charlottesville. She studied art in college and continued her education via workshops in a wide range of techniques, including drawing, pastels, oils, printmaking, collage, watercolor, acrylics and experimental watermedia. Many of her paintings have been accepted and have won awards in juried shows and appear in private collections. Her work has appeared in the Palette magazine (Mar./Apr., 2009, and Sept./Oct., 2012) and has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions on Long Island and in Virginia. She has had an online presence at sites such as the Central Virginia Watercolor Guild, Abstract Expressions (Best in Show award), Piedmont Council for the arts, and the McGuffey Art Center, where she was juried in as an associate member.
