Collection: Paul Lucchesi

Paul Lucchesi is a sculptor and painter who is inspired by Italian Renaissance and Baroque sculpture. His work is firmly rooted in the mythical and psychological context of contemporary issues. He served as professor of sculpture at New School University from 1984 to 1999 and also taught at Parson School of Design. He currently teaches sculpting workshops around the country and in Pietrasanta, Italy. He is recipient of the Lindsay Morris Memorial Prize from the National Sculpture Society and the Henry Ward ranger Fund Purchase Prize from the National Academy of Design.
